Cygnus World School would like to share with you an incredible & the inspirational journey of Ranvir Shah who is presently in grade 3-C in this academic session.
During the lockdown Ranvir started growing his hair, as everything was online there were no restrictions. It grew to a point where Ranvir & his parents decided to contribute towards a noble cause. ‘The purpose of education is to make good human beings with skill and expertise.’ Quoting our former president Mr. Abdul Kalam, we understand education as a pioneer of a child’s development. Drawing inspiration from the same, our school organized an ‘Insight into Curriculum’ to enlighten our parents with the teaching aids used, different concepts taught and the hands on material provided in school to cater to the children. It was held for all three sections on different days with a good majority of parents feeling satisfied and happy with the same.
‘You know us crazy kids; we can do anything crazy to our hair.’ The year started with a smashing fun day – “The Crazy Hair Day”. Children, came in with bizarre, quirky hairstyles filling the classes with laughter, enjoyment and vibrancy. They were shown a video on a crazy hair story illustrated by Barney Saltzberg along with a presentation depicting the famous hairdos of renowned personalities. Later they did worksheets and enjoyed the rest of the day donning the crazy hairstyle.

Cygnites of Grade 6 had a happy time on the outbound trip to the Riparian
resorts, staying in the lap of nature amidst dense green cover enjoying a pleasant
morning. The resort had all the facilities for the children to have a perfect
together time. They feasted on fresh and delicious meals. The volunteers from
the Wild and Green outdoors made them play team building and ice breaking
games. All the students along with the teachers completed the adventure
activities enthusiastically. The students along with their teachers, who also were
adventure enthusiasts, went for an amazing River trek on the banks of the Mahi
River. They explored the lifestyle and habitat of the locals on the way.
The trip was a rich learning experience for the students as it not only brought
them out of their comfort zones, but also taught them that true happiness is
being with friends in the midst of nature away from the city chaos.
